A Southwest Florida native and lifelong outdoorsman, Codty grew up fly fishing in the waters of the Caloosahatchee River and Pine Island Sound. He turned his passion for the environment into a profession by founding his own successful fishing guide and charter business in 2016. This led to appearances on television, including guest spots on multiple episodes of Flats Class TV. He now serves as Calusa Waterkeeper and is the organization’s lead advocate and voice for the waterways.
